TheChristerAndBenneBand was Started on February 28th, on a birthday party. Benne and Christer begun playing some of Christer`s own made songs and improvising songs about different people at the party, that was the beginning of the band. Sometimes Christer would take a guitar from the music room at school, and sit and play, with luck Christer met Benne when he played, on these occations they would start to make songs, the first song they ever made together was "The Journey". With that song they begun to preform, soon after, they made another song "Eyes in Disguise". A big Revy was coming up, and Benne and Christer ofcourse decided to play, they played "The Journey"  and a new song "She Cries Out", "The Journey" was a big hit. Now their setting their goals higher.

CHRISTER JAMES NILSEN: Christer has played guitar for 4 - 5 years, and had many bands over that time, at one time he even had 6 bands at once. now he`s cut it down to 4, even if you love making all different kind`s of music you have to know when enough is enough. his first guitar was a plastic one, he and his friend Dag use to stand in front of the mirror and mime to Kiss(eh...the band), each taking their turn to be guitarist or drummer, Christer practice on his guitar for hours every day to become better then he already is! and he loves to sing, although he`s not nearly as good as Benne. He belives in TheChristerAndBenneBand. Christer is inspired by such bands as: New Amsterdams, Creed, Silverchair, Matchbox Twenty, Coldplay, Tenacious D, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers Etc.

BENNE CHRISTER BAKKE: Benne is respected in his hometown community for his astonishing good vocals(hehe).He`s not so exsperienced in the music community as his partner in crime:Christer, but he is trying as good as he can.He likes to sing everywhere, but he prefers the shower!He likes to listen to his cellephoneradio while he is walking long distances and when he is occupied at the restroom. Although not professionally, Bennes been singing ever since he was 4 years old. Benne also belives in TheChristerAndBenneBand. Benne is inspired by such people like: his brother Lasse, his sister Camilla and her beautiful voice, Creed, Matchbox Twenty and some others...
